Carved Pillar

Here’s the giant pillar that I was talking about. It was just sitting in a square which we stumbled upon while trying to find the Pantheon. No lines, no photographers; there were barely even any people looking at it. This thing was about three stories tall and intricately carved all the way down, and nobody cared. I couldn’t believe it. Rome just has too much awesome, ancient art and architecture (alliteration!).
