Another Ceiling

We found the Pantheon. This is a picture of the domed ceiling with a circular opening at the top. It’s now a church, but it used to be a place of worship for the Roman gods. There are twelve fireplaces around the room which the Romans would always keep lit. The heat from the fires would get trapped in the top of the dome, making it so hot that when it rained none would hit the floor of the Pantheon; it would all evaporate (the work of the gods!)
